November Bird Mail 🪶
A Spotted Pardalote perched among the soft cream blossoms of native Blackwood is taking flight this November.
Receive the artwork as a postcard through the Bird Postcard Club, or choose Bird Collector’s Mail for the postcard, a matching sticker and a bird letter featuring What the Trees Held, plus extra facts about this tiny bird.
Join by 31 October to receive November Bird Mail, posted during the first week of November.
From November, Bird Mail will be named for the month it’s posted. September’s postcard was sent in October, and the next release is November Bird Mail. Existing subscribers will continue receiving a postcard each month.

Hi, I’m Sylvia.
Feather & Perch grew from my love of Australia’s native birds, slow creativity and the simple joy of receiving something beautiful in the mail.
I paint each bird in gouache here in Tasmania, turning those small moments of inspiration into artwork for you to hold, collect and enjoy.

The story behind the month’s painting, from personal memories to the birds and plants that inspire my work. Includes extra facts about the featured bird’s life, habits and calls, saved especially for your mail.
November’s letter, What the Trees Held, reflects on Dad’s tree plantings on our family’s dairy farm in North West Tasmania, a pardalote nest near the dairy, and the connections between birds, trees and home.
A matching sticker
A die-cut sticker featuring the month’s bird and botanical artwork. Printed in Tasmania on durable, waterproof vinyl with a protective matte laminate, perfect for adding a little birdlife to your notebook, laptop or water bottle.
